bai he 15 zhi mu 9
In lily bulb disease, after sweating, bai he zhi mu tang governs.
Same as bai he di huang tang but now with more pronounced heat signs. It clears the heat in the jue yin liver and pericardium channels.
Bai he, Lilii bulbus is sweet tonifying, nourishing and cooling of the spleen, lungs, liver and heart. It is more nourishing than tonifiying. It nourishes lung and heart yin while mildly clearing deficiency heat.
Zhi mu, Anemarrhenae rhizomeis bitter draining of heat in the stomach and lungs. It is sweet nourishing of fluids of the stomach, lungs, kidneys, and heart. It clears deficiency heat to preserve the yin blood of liver and heart, for only when yin blood is sufficient can the yang mind be controlled and pacified. It clears the heat in the jue yin liver and pericardium channels.
Zhi mu is bitter, sweet and cool it enters the lung, tonifies deficiency, calms the heart and stops fright.
